These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website the-dark-house.com and your participation in our immersive horror experiences. By using the Site and booking with us, you agree to follow these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Site or attend our experiences.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to enter.
- Children cannot attend under any circumstances.
- Guests with medical conditions (including heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or epilepsy) cannot enter.
- We refuse entry to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
2. Bookings & Payments
- Make all reservations before the scheduled story through our official booking channels.
- Pay a non-refundable deposit of EGP 500 to secure your booking.
- We refund this deposit only in exceptional cases, subject to management approval.
- We confirm bookings only after receiving payment.
- Prices, offers, and availability may change without notice.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancel or change bookings up to 12 hours before the scheduled story.
- We refund payments except for the non-refundable deposit of EGP 500.
- We do not issue refunds if guests leave during or after the experience.
- If we cancel or postpone an experience, you can choose either a reschedule or a full refund.
4. Arrival & Attendance
- Arrive 15 minutes early for your scheduled time.
- If you arrive late, we deduct the delay from your total experience time.
- Only guests with confirmed reservations may enter.
- Groups must include at least 5 people. Smaller groups may attend if they cover the minimum fee for the minimum required attendees.
- If you request video recording, you must pay an additional fee. We deliver videos within 5 business days.
5. Experience Rules
- The experience requires teamwork. All participants must move together toward the light. Wandering alone is prohibited.
- Do not wear or use any forbidden items after receiving a warning.
- Do not damage furniture, décor, or props. If you cause damage, you must pay for repairs, and we will cancel the experience.
- Do not verbally or physically abuse actors. Inappropriate behavior leads to immediate removal without refund and may result in legal action.
- Hand over mobile phones, smartwatches, and other prohibited items before the game begins.
- Store personal belongings in lockers. We do not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items outside the lockers.
6. General Venue Rules
- CCTV cameras monitor the premises for safety.
- Do not bring weapons, sharp objects, or prohibited items inside.
- Do not block or loiter at the entrance. Remain quiet and respectful outside the venue.
- No waiting area exists inside before entry.
7. Intellectual Property
- The Dark House owns all storylines, characters, logos, designs, and content on the Site and in the experiences.
- Do not record, copy, or reproduce experiences without permission.
- Do not use our name, brand, or marketing materials without authorization.
8. Limitation of Liability
- You participate in The Dark House at your own risk.
- We do not accept liability for injuries, medical conditions, property damage, or indirect losses related to participation.
9. Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify and protect The Dark House, its staff, and affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses caused by your breach of these Terms.
10. Privacy
- We collect and use personal data according to our Privacy Policy at the-dark-house.com.
11. Governing Law
- These Terms follow the laws of Egypt.
- You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of Egyptian courts.
12. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms at any time.
- We post all updated versions on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
- By continuing to use the Site or services, you accept the updated Terms.
